Tononoff Journey

Colophon

About

I am Lucas Tonon — an AI engineer working on machine learning, data science, software engineering and research. Currently at Vetto.ai as a researcher in LLMs. I enjoy math and pizza.

A notebook, not a publication. Posts run as long as they need to and no longer; every claim in them should be traceable to a file in a repository you can clone. The bar is: would this have saved me a day two months ago?

One feed, four categories, filter as you like. skill is a tool I built for coding agents. agents is a bigger project. talks is me on someone else's microphone. research is empty, which is honest.

§The site

Static HTML generated by a few hundred lines of Node in this repository — no framework, no build step beyond node build.mjs. Markdown in, HTML out.

Syntax highlighting and math both render at build time, so no highlighter and no math library ship to your browser. Margin notes are CSS. Videos are click-to-load — nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play, which is how the no-cookies claim below stays true.

Set in Alegreya and Alegreya Sans, with IBM Plex Mono for code.

Tonon means the lights are on. Tonoff means they are off, at which point the site changes its name and I stop looking awake. Naming that switch took longer than building it.

There is an RSS feed. There is no newsletter, no analytics, and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies.

Corrections and arguments are both welcome, and the second is more useful.
